During the My Mainstreet Project, we partnered with the Parker community to get feedback to help us create a Strategic Framework for future development in Downtown Parker.

With the conclusion of that project, we move into our next phase: Implementation.

The My Mainstreet Implementation project will build on the foundations established during 2018 and work to inform residents about the next steps each site will go through to help create a Vibrant, Vital, and Resilient downtown.

  • East Main Property and Town Parking Garage Open House Aug. 22, 2023

    An open house for two planned My Mainstreet property developments will be held 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22 in Event Hall B of the Douglas County Libraries Parker branch, 20105 E. Mainstreet.

    Hosted by property owner Confluence Companies, this open house will introduce the site development plans for the East Main lot, 20117 Mainstreet next to Discovery Park, and the Town Parking Garage, to be constructed east of the PACE Center.

    The proposed East Main development includes 284 for-rent multi-family units and 17,500 square feet of ground floor retail space along Mainstreet. The proposed garage is a 297-space parking structure to be located on the current surface lot east of the PACE Center.

    These projects represent the first development phase for the My Mainstreet Project properties in Downtown Parker.

    Throughout the first quarter of 2023, Confluence Companies diligently worked on advancing the My Mainstreet redevelopment project by establishing teams, budgets, master scheduling, preliminary design, and project coordination. With a primary focus on the PACE Parking Garage and East Main lot, Confluence Companies, along with Craine Architecture and Harris Kocher Engineering Group (HKS), initiated schematic design and began massing exercises to determine the ideal layout, placement and feel for the projects.

    My Mainstreet Concept Plans Presented to P3 Board

    P3 – Partnering for Parker’s Progress, the Town of Parker’s urban renewal authority, provided an update on the status of the exclusive negotiation agreement (ENA) for the five My Mainstreet parcels to the P3 Board of Directors on April 11. The ENA with developer Confluence Companies has been extended for an additional 90 days to allow further refinement of the plans.

    The concept plans follow the vision of the My Mainstreet Project, which aims to achieve a vibrant and walkable downtown area in Parker that promotes a mix of uses and enhances the vitality of Mainstreet. Any development that occurs on the five publicly-owned parcels will promote Downtown Parker as a destination area while providing balanced parking solutions.

    These concept plans provide a first look at Confluence Companies’ vision for Downtown Parker and will be further refined over the next few months in cooperation with Town staff and officials.
