Join Us for the Second Project Open House

The Parker Road and Mainstreet Conceptual Design Project is moving forward, and the Town invites you to join us for a second public open house.

Stop by The Schoolhouse, 19650 Mainstreet, on Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. to see the latest project updates, learn more about the preliminarily identified preferred alternative, ask questions and share your feedback with the project team.

Your input will help refine the concept and inform next steps. The Parker Road and Mainstreet intersection plays an important role in how people travel through our community and access Downtown Parker. The project is evaluating improvements to traffic operations and safety, roadway access, walking and biking connections, and access to O’Brien Park. The Town is also considering potential impacts and opportunities related to surrounding properties, redevelopment, economic vitality and Downtown Parker’s character.

Since the project began in late 2025, the Town and its consultant, Kimley Horn, have updated traffic, survey and environmental information; gathered input from the community and stakeholders; and analyzed and refined alternatives from the 2019 Parker Road Corridor Plan. Alternatives have been narrowed down based on a range of factors, including safety and traffic operations, multimodal connectivity, property and park impacts, and opportunities for Downtown.
