The Town of Parker, Douglas County, and Parker History (formerly the Parker Area Historical Society) are partnering on a new vision for the Parker Heritage Center, the local history museum in The Schoolhouse on Mainstreet. As part of Parker's "Back to Our Roots" anniversary year, we are developing a plan to reimagine how the Parker Heritage Center shares Parker's story, with a renovation to follow.
Whether you've visited many times, have never heard of the Parker Heritage Center, or are somewhere in between, we'd love to hear from you. Your feedback will help shape what the renewed Parker Heritage Center looks like, what stories it tells, and how it serves our community for years to come.
Save the Date
Join us for a Parker Heritage Center Public Open House from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 22 in the Event Room at The Schoolhouse, 19650 Mainstreet. This informal drop-in event is an opportunity to share your stories, explore early planning ideas for the renewed Parker Heritage Center, and help shape how Parker’s history is told for future generations.
