    The purpose of the onboarding program is to integrate the new Councilmembers and Mayor into the Town of Parker government, the organizational culture and the community. It will also assist in the transition from private citizen to public elected official. Finally, it will provide the tools and training needed to become successful elected officials. The formal onboarding process will last six months with informal check-ins and training opportunities continuing throughout the first year.
