Consultation has concluded
In 2018, a planning committee comprised of community members convened with the goal of identifying the Parker community’s perception of key issues, needs, and priorities concerning the cultural development of the town and the surrounding region. The findings were used to create a feasible and sustainable Five Year Strategic Plan that will guide the operations of the Town of Parker's Cultural Department.

How can we improve the Town's Cultural offerings? is currently at this stage
The Cultural Department has made progress on many of the short-term initiatives. Below is a highlight of just a few of the accomplishments from the first quarter of 2019:
- Initiative: Develop a cross-training plan to maximize learning opportunities for staff. Accomplishment: Several of our volunteers and staff were training to run a spotlight and actually worked shifts in that new role.
- Initiative: Develop a rubric to assess the success of all shows and classes. Accomplishment: We created an effective tool to not only assess the success of a show after the fact, but are using it to evaluate whether or not to book an event, class, or performance.
- Initiative: Create one new revenue-generating activity that is held in a currently underutilized space. Accomplishment: We held a "Dueling Pianos" fundraising event in the empty Event Room at the PACE Center, and made money to help support our free programming.
