My Mainstreet is a community effort to encourage the right growth in the right places in downtown Parker. Our goal is for P3 to partner with Town residents, business owners and developers to define what the community would like to see on the sites and what is feasible for the private market to develop.
This is your opportunity to share your thoughts and work with P3 to shape the downtown and guide the investment in the space. Share your thoughts, concerns, feelings and ideas below. We want to hear from you about how you'd like to see this space develop.

Over the past few weeks, we've been learning what elements make a good downtown. Below is a list that we've generated from our research:KEY ELEMENTS OF A GOOD DOWNTOWN
- Mixed uses, including professional office space, mixed-use residential, restaurants, retail, and other shops.
- Places to live and stay including lofts, upper floor housing, and hotel accommodation.
- Active ground floor uses that include art galleries, restaurants, breweries and other retail shops.
- Attractive, interesting and safe public realms for visitors to gather in.
- Branding that helps visitors identify the downtown space.

For our sense of place, our area is "historically" native ponderosas. Too many non-native plants along our gateways and new developement.
More Ponderosa Pines in Landscaping/Road Corridors, Street Corners, Etc.

Ft. Collins feel
Shops, independent restaurants and breweries are needed. The empty space with weeds needs to be gone. We need specialty shops such as a butcher, deli, cheese shop, etc. The downtown area should be hip and funky. The pine curve area should be an extension of downtown with a specialty grocer anchor and independent restaurants. Do not approve any design that is basic or dull. The goal is vibrant, unique and appealing.
